Description
Intense, ruby red color. When smelling, it presents a bouquet that
remembers of cherries and Morello cherries, with a note of small fruits and condiments typical for the sort. Velveted, delicate taste,
with rich and persistant body. The residual taste keeps a freshness and special acidity. Rich and extraordinary wine, increases the specific character of the sort Corvina. The vinification and aging take place in Castelrotto, in the municipality of
San Pietro in Cariano in the Valpolicella Classica area. The cellar houses
a production capacity of 100 hl divided between steel barrels (68 hl) and
wooden barrels with 32 hl. The wooden barrels are made of Slavonian oak
wood (barriques of 2.5hl and big barrels of around 10 hl) or French oak wood (tonneaux of 5hl).
Region: Valpolicella, Verona, Veneto.
Grapes: Corvina Veronese 40%, Corvinone Veronese 40%, Rondinella 20%.
