Solsken (Sunshine) is Mackmyra?s eighth release in the Moment series and is a slightly spicy whisky with golden nuances of grass, fresh herbs and a light smokiness, partly matured in sherry casks.

In this golden whisky there are references of dried fruit and butterscotch. These tastes play over fresh herbs, with a finish of soft and spicy oakiness.

Mackmyra Moment is a series of whiskies from their most exclusive casks, handpicked by Master Blender Angela D?Orazio.

Moment Solsken is inspired of the long sunsets in Sweden where the sunlight is warm and reddish, which give the northern grown barley extra golden energy.

Nose

The nose is oaky, nutty and fruity with clear notes of butterscotch.

Palate

In this golden whisky reflexes of dried fruit and butterscotch play over fresh herbs, with a finish of soft, spicy oakiness. The aftertaste is long and fruity.
