Description
A native of the Jura region, Trousseau Gris is a true “Grey” grape and can make either white wines or slightly colored wines. Zeitgeist choose to press the grapes the moment they arrive at the winery, opting for a fresh white wine style. Pressed lightly to avoid any bitterness, the juice is transferred to stainless steel barrels. The wines ferment at low temperatures and can take as long as 6 weeks to finish. The wine does not go through malo-lactic fermentation.
